This collection of interior products is inspired by characters from the Tintin comics. The design method is based on character-driven design, using the distinctive personality of the characters as inspiration for the design. The project has been a study of how to use a distinctive personality as inspiration for a piece of design - working with materials, colour and shape while having the character in mind. I have worked with the individual qualities of the characters, their mutual relations and the universe of the comics, to create a collection of unique products with personality and serial consistency. The three products are inspired by the main character Tintin, opera singer Bianca Castafiore and the two detectives Thomson and Thompson. The products should be understood as abstractions of the characters and the associations they create are to be interpreted freely.
